Galloway, N.J. – Twelve Stockton University student-athletes from four different teams received College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors in the at-large category, which includes sports such as lacrosse, field hockey, rowing and golf.
The criteria for eligibility were a minimum 3.50 grade point average, sophomore or higher standing and either participation in 90 percent or starting in 66 percent of a team's games. Each institution receives a maximum of six men's spots and six women's spots on the Academic All-District At-Large teams.
Men's lacrosse players Michael Hoey (Springfield, Pa./Springfield Delco) and Hunter VanZant (Lincoln Park/Boonton) were CSC Academic All-District honorees for the second straight year. Hoey and VanZant were joined by four teammates.
Alex DeLierre (Bridgewater/Bridgewater-Raritan), Liam Humphrey (Mt. Laurel/Lenape), Josh Graham (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) and Colin Wagner (Birdsboro, Pa./Daniel Boone) were CSC Academic All-District At-Large men's selections for the first time.
Stockton's six female awardees came from three teams. EB Rafferty (Morrisville, Pa./Pennsbury), Miana Alessandroni (Cinnaminson/Cinnaminson) and Erika Roura (Mt. Laurel/Lenape) represented the Stockton field hockey team with their second straight CSC Academic All-District At-Large laurels.
Women's lacrosse teammates Gina Marotta (Montville/Montville) and Brianna Robinson (Cape May CH/Middle Twp.) plus women's golfer Elenora Byrne (Princeton Jct./West Windsor-Plainsboro North) rounded out Stockton's six CSC Academic All-District At-Large women's selections.
