Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University set a school record with 150 student-athletes qualifying for the 2025-26 New Jersey Athletic Conference All-Academic Team for their work in the classroom. Baseball player Nick Avagnano (Paramus/Paramus) and softball player Emma Coldsnow (Yorktown, Va./Tabb) collected NJAC All-Academic First Team recognition.

Women's lacrosse player Gina Marotta (Montville/Montville) and men's soccer player Uche Wokocha (Galloway/St. Augustine Prep) received NJAC All-Academic Second Team accolades. Beyond Avagnano, Coldsnow, Marotta and Wokocha, 146 Ospreys earned NJAC All-Academic Honorable Mention spots.

To be eligible, student-athletes must be sophomores, juniors or seniors in a conference-sponsored sport and have a minimum 3.20 grade point average. True freshmen and first-year transfers are not eligible. Stockton is an NJAC member in 16 of its 19 sports, with men's lacrosse, women's golf and women's rowing as the exceptions.

Avagnano was an NJAC Honorable Mention and ABCA Region IV Third Team selection for his play on the diamond. The senior graduated as Stockton's career leader in doubles (44), runs (137) and RBI (125) as well as ranking second in Stockton history in home runs (16), third in hits (181), tied for third in triples (7) and sixth in walks (66).

Coldsnow was chosen NJAC First Team, NFCA Region IV First Team, College Sports Communicators Academic All-America Third Team and College Sports Communicators Academic All-District this spring. The senior led the NJAC in on-base percentage (.537) and finished second in OPS (1.103) and hit by pitch (11), tied for seventh in home runs (4) and eighth in batting average (.415) and slugging percentage (.566).

Marotta compiled IWLCA Boardwalk Region Second Team, NJAC First Team, NJAC Defensive Player of the Week once, IWLCA Senior All-Star Game, College Sports Communicators Academic All-District and IWLCA Academic Honor Roll laurels this year. The defender finished her career second in program history in ground balls (157), third in caused turnovers (79) and sixth in draw controls (122).

Wokocha became the first Osprey ever to receive the NJAC Midfielder of the Year award since it was created in 2007. The senior also amassed United Soccer Coaches All-Region IV First Team, NJAC First Team and All-ECAC Second Team honors. A strong two-way player, Wokocha tallied five goals and four assists for 14 points at the offensive end.
