Jewish Family Service of Atlantic and Cape May Counties
On September 24th, Jewish Family Service of Atlantic & Cape May Counties (JFS) welcomed almost 100 guests to its inaugural Tiles by the Tide fundraiser at Tideline Restaurant in Margate. Participants enjoyed an evening of Mahjong, savory hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, dessert, and shopping for customized jewelry and game accessories.
The event raised nearly $22,000 to support JFS services including the food pantry, counseling, housing assistance, mental health treatment, older adult programs and more.
"At JFS, we continue to create new events that complement our longstanding fundraisers, including the Golf Tournament, House Tour, Card Party and others," said Andrea Steinberg, JFS Chief Executive Officer. "Tiles by the Tide provided us with an exciting opportunity to introduce a fundraising event, which brought together longtime supporters and those who are new to JFS. We are grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make this inaugural event such a success."
Thank you to our generous sponsors for their support – Broder Law Group, Mindy & Michael Goldberg, Harrison Beverage, Melissa & Jeffrey Herskowitz, Pamela Steele, and Xplora Search Group – as well as our committee members for their time and effort – Stefanie Getzoff, Mindy Goldberg, Melissa Herskowitz, Debbie Ravitz, and Pamela Steele.
