DULUTH, Ga. — The Atlanta Gladiators, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Nashville Predators and the American Hockey League’s Milwaukee Admirals, announced that the team has signed forward Corson Hopwo for the 2026-27 season.
Hopwo signs his first professional contract with the Gladiators after four seasons of collegiate hockey at Acadia University from 2022-26. The 25-year-old tallied 13 points (8g-5a) in 20 games last season in his senior campaign. Hopwo concluded his collegiate career with 51 points (21g-30a) in 99 games.
Prior to his time at Acadia, Hopwo played four seasons in the Western Hockey League. Most of his junior career was spent with the Medicine Hat Tigers, with a brief stint with the Lethbridge Hurricanes at the end of the 2021-22 season. In his time in the WHL, he notched 106 points (47g-59a) in 201 games.
