Galloway, N.J. – Four Stockton University student-athletes earned weekly awards from the New Jersey Athletic Conference for the week of September 14-20. Nicole Palmer (Islip Terrace, N.Y./East Islip) was chosen NJAC Player of the Week in volleyball for the second consecutive time.

Freshmen Stella Devlin (Millville/St. Joseph Academy), Cooper Adinolfi (Medford/Shawnee) and James Clauson (Haddon Twp./Haddon Twp.) were selected NJAC Rookie of the Week in field hockey, men's soccer and men's cross country respectively.

Palmer led Stockton in kills (45), digs (34) and points (56) during a 3-0 week that extended the team's winning streak to seven matches. The senior produced a pair of double-doubles last week and reached a milestone with her 1,000th career kill during Stockton's sweep of Muhlenberg on September 15.

Palmer leads the NJAC in kills (4.26/set) and points (4.93/set) and ranks fourth in hitting percentage (.295). She has reached double figures in kills in all 10 matches this season.

Devlin helped Stockton to a pair of wins with two goals and two assists that were her first points at the college level. The midfielder tallied one goal and one assist apiece in a 6-2 victory over Washington College (Md.) on September 16 and a 5-4 triumph over Alvernia on Saturday. Devlin also made a defensive save against Washington College.

Adinolfi sparked Stockton to a 3-2 victory over Arcadia on September 14 with a goal and an assist. The freshman has started all eight games for the Ospreys this season, and he leads the team in goals (4) and points (9). Adinolfi stands fourth in the NJAC in goals and tied for fifth in points as well.

Clauson finished ninth out of 151 runners at the Osprey Open on Saturday with a time of 26:11.1 in his time running the eight-kilometer distance at the college level. The freshman helped Stockton to fourth place out of 15 teams at the meet.
