Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University senior Gina Marotta (Montville/Montville) was selected by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association to play in the 2026 Division III Senior All-Star Game. The Senior All-Star games for all three NCAA divisions will be held on Tierney Field at USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md., on Saturday.
Marotta follows recent Stockton women's lacrosse alumnae Kerstin Axe and Drew Coxson, who were selected to play in the IWLCA Senior All-Star Game in 2023 and 2024 respectively. Marotta was one of three NJAC players chosen, joining Elaina Corson and Leah Corkhill from Rowan.
Marotta was an NJAC First Team and IWLCA Boardwalk Region Second Team selection as well as NJAC Defensive Player of the Week once this season. The defender finished fourth in the conference in ground balls (3.18 per game) and 10th in draw controls (2.76 per game). Marotta's 54 ground balls were the second-highest season total ever at Stockton.
Marotta started all 67 games that she played in four years at Stockton and finished her career second in program history in ground balls (157), third in caused turnovers (79) and sixth in draw controls (122).
