How to update your email preferences correctly
If you no longer wish to receive certain email notifications from the library, please do not click "Unsubscribe" or report the email as spam inside your Comcast inbox.
Instead, please update your account preferences using one of the following methods:
Online: Log into your library account and uncheck the boxes for the specific notifications you no longer wish to receive.
In person or by phone: Speak with a staff member at any library branch, and we will gladly update your notification settings for you.
When automated emails are marked as spam or unsubscribed directly through an email provider like Comcast, Comcast’s security policies flag our library domain. This significantly increases the risk of Comcast blocking all library communications to all patrons using Comcast email addresses.
Using your online library account or contacting our staff ensures you only get the emails you want while keeping library communications open for the entire community.
