Galloway, N.J. - Families reunited with their students, and alumni returned to explore the campus during University Weekend. Below are photo highlights from Saturday including the Talon Trot 5K and fun run, a parade featuring golf cart floats decorated by student groups, and a street fair with vendors, food, amusements and games.
Talon Trot 5K and fun run
Runners of all ages experienced the fall foliage as they looped through the dorms and Lake Fred trails during the 5K. Groups of young runners circled the track during the fun run.
Parade
Families lined up in front of the Campus Center and Unified Science Center to watch the parade of decorated carts. The Stockton Car Club brought an antique car, Talon gave many hugs and high fives and the Stockton Mexican Student Association gave out handmade paper flowers.
Local artists and vendors as well as Stockton's own Sustainable Farm and Maple Project filled the parking lot alongside a fun slide, a basketball hoops game and a stage where Stockton's K-Pop Club and other groups performed.
A new alma mater
Jade Maccini '18 was named the winning songwriter of the Alma Mater Refresh competition. She performed her musical composition during the street fair.
