Dangerously hot conditions are coming to Atlantic City. A heat advisory is in effect Thursday afternoon, July 2, through Saturday evening, July 4, 2026, with heat index values reaching up to 110 degrees.
Safety first
- Stay hydrated with plenty of water throughout the day.
- Limit outdoor time between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
- Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing and use sunscreen.
- Take breaks in air-conditioned or shaded areas.
- Never leave children or pets unattended in vehicles.
- Check on older adults, young children, and anyone with chronic medical conditions.
