Friday: The Angels will open a series at home against the Oakland Athletics at 10:05 p.m. Jesse Chavez (2-6, 2.51) is scheduled to start for the Athletics. Trout is hitting .364 (4 for 11) with two home runs and five RBIs against Chavez.
