Something in the Air: Marty Pagliughi, Avalon Mayor and Cape May County Emergency Manager
Avalon saved $1.6 million additional dollars on their flood insurance in 2020 with large thanks to Marty Pagliughi, Mayor of the town. However, service doesn't stop there for him. Marty's been the Cape May County Office of Emergency Management (OEM) Coordinator since 2012. Marty talks to Meteorologist Joe Martucci about his baptism by fire into OEM, how he ended up settling down in Avalon and the real difference between sauce and gravy. Joe also officially dubs Marty his OEM parent.Â
