ATLANTIC CITY — A two-month investigation has led to the arrest of four city residents on weapons and drug charges, police said.
At 11:45 a.m. Wednesday, detectives arrested Terique McCray, 36, outside his home in the 1600 block of City Place. Detectives then executed a search warrant, seizing 460 bags of heroin, handgun ammunition and $2,909 believed to be from drug sales, according to a press release.
Ten more bags of heroin were found in McCray's car, along with two handguns loaded with hollow-point bullets. Police said both guns were reported stolen from Alabama.
Three other suspects inside the home, Juannae Gordy, 21, Arnold Rice, 24, and Hamilton Barkus, 47, were also arrested.
McCray and Gordy were charged with drug and weapons possession charges and were taken to the Atlantic County jail.
