HAMILTON TOWNSHIP — Incumbent Barbara Kupp was the leading vote-getter in the race for three seats on the Hamilton Township Board of Education on Tuesday with 2,904 votes.
Former board member Amelia Francis placed second with 2,243, while incumbent Derek Haye received 2,063.
Current Board President Eric Aiken was in fourth place with 2,047 votes, while Harry Rogers earned 1,140 votes.
The totals include absentee ballots. However, there are still a few dozen provisional ballots that are scheduled to be counted Monday, according to officials.
Margaret “Peg” Capone ran unopposed for a Hamilton Township seat on the Greater Egg Harbor Regional High School Board of Education and received 3,049 votes.
The successful candidates will be sworn in in January.
