PUBLIC NOTICE – TAX SALE
Public Notice is hereby given that the undersigned, the Tax Collector of the City of Margate, Atlantic County, New Jersey will sell at public
auction in the Commission Chambers in Historic City Hall, 1 S Washington Avenue on the 11th day of December, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. the following described lands.
Said respective lands will be sold to make the amount of Municipal Liens severally chargeable against the same to and including the tax year of
2019 with interest thereon to the date of sale and costs of sale, as computed in the following list. The subscriber will set in full to the person who bids the amount
due, subject to redemption at the lowest rate of interest, but in no case exceeding eighteen per cent (18%) per annum. The payment for the sale shall be made before
the conclusion of the sale or the property will be resold. Cash or certified check only will be accepted in payment.
Any parcel of real property for which there shall be no other purchaser will be struck off the list and sold to the City of Margate, New Jersey, for
redemption at eighteen per cent (18%) per annum, and the Municipality shall have the same remedies and rights as the other purchasers, including the right to bar
foreclosure and the right to redemption.
The sale shall be made and conducted in accordance with the provision of Revised Statutes of New Jersey, 1937, Title 54, Article 4, et seq. and
acts supplementary therein and amendatory therein and amendatory thereof. Industrial properties may be subject to the Spill Compensation and Control Act (NJSA
