On Friday, Sept. 4, it's time to get up and dance in Atlantic City. MIXX, at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, and Dusk, inside Caesars Atlantic City, will heat up Labor Day weekend with big-name acts performing just for you.
Mya, a Grammy-winning artist, will perform live at Dusk at 10 p.m. Besides her Grammy, Mya has a slew of R&B and hip-hop hits, and she is in line to be a part of the upcoming season of "Dancing with the Stars."
At mixx, The Roots mix it up at a concert afterparty beginning at 10 p.m. Providing music is none other than Questlove. Those who attend The Roots concert that night will receive free admission to the party.

Morey's Piers in Wildwood is planning a big event for Saturday, as it looks to raise money for the John Pawlowski Memorial Trust Fund and The Fraternal Order of Police Survivors.
Pawlowski, a Philadelphia police officer who died in the line of duty, left behind his wife and baby. His sister, Lauren, is one of the organizers of the event and has been an employee of Morey's Piers since 2004.
You can be a part of helping the Pawlowski family by going to Morey's Piers on Saturday. With admission, you can get into all of the piers and waterparks and enjoy a catered picnic a the Rendezvous Beach Pavilion on Mariner's Landing. The picnic lasts from noon to
2 p.m. and will include hamburgers, hot dogs, salad, corn on the cob, baked beans, beverages and ice cream.
Tickets, priced at $40 per person - with $31 from each ticket going to the charities - must be purchased in advance at www.moreyspiers.com, in the "fundraisers" section above "Group Events."
