The official end of summer may be upon us, but that doesn't mean the fun stops here.

Another weekend-long, annual event is going on right in Atlantic City this weekend. It's Boat Week at Trump Marina Hotel Casino, and The Deck is ready to celebrate. Boat Week officially begins Thursday, and runs through Sunday, with some of the finest boats in the marina on display right alongside The Deck. But it's not all about boats; the live music is also something to see.

Animal House plays Thursday at 7 p.m., Seven Stone rocks the marina Friday at 7 p.m., and Saturday brings out Dane Anthony at 2 p.m. and Asbury Fever at 7 p.m. The Exceptions perform in their weekly spot Sunday at 2:30 p.m. The Deck is located inside the Trump Marina in Atlantic City. Those of you in Vineland have probably been aching for the end-of-summer entertainment line-up at Merighi's Savoy Inn, located at 4940 Landis Ave., and this weekend, it's happening. Don't Call Me Francis, one of the areas hottest cover bands, brings weekly live music back in a big way on Friday, Sept. 11. But this not just an ordinary rock show; Friday's event will benefit the Courage and Valor Foundation, for the fallen firefighters of September 11. There will be drink specials and giveaways throughout the night, but most importantly, your $12 admission charge will benefit this charity.
