Snoop Dogg Wonderful High School Tour

WHO ARE THEY: Snoop Dogg's career as a rapper was a success right out of the gate, thanks in part to his contributions on mentor Dr. Dre's album, "The Chronic." It paved the way for Snoop's 1993 debut album, "Doggystyle," which went quadruple platinum and featured the hit singles "Who Am I (What's My Name?)" and "Gin and Juice." Snoop's sophomore release, "The Doggfather," was also a success. In 2004, Snoop Dogg released "R&G: The Masterpiece," which featured the No. 1 single "Drop it Like it's Hot."

Method Man & Redman is a rap duo featuring the two stars from Wu-Tang Clan and Def Squad. The duo released the album "Blackout!" in 1999 and starred in their own Fox sitcom, "Method & Red." "Blackout! 2" was released in May.

WHAT TO EXPECT: Bow wow wow yippee yo yippee yeah, Snoop Dogg is in the House … of Blues on Halloween night along with Method Man and Redman. With his unique style and presence, Snoop Dogg has been entertaining audiences since the early 1990s and continues to do so with a new album, "Malice N Wonderland," coming out in early December. Concertgoers can expect to hear all of the classic hits such as "Who Am I (What's My Name?)," "Gin and Juice" and "Drop It Like It's Hot," as well as his new single, "Gangsta Luv." Opening the show will be Method Man and Redman.

A Tribute to the

Beatles' at Tropicana

WHAT IS IT: Yesterday is a Las Vegas-based Beatles tribute band that began performing as a unit in 1986. The band has appeared onstage with America, Chicago and The Moody Blues. Yesterday was invited to perform at the U.S. Postal Service's unveiling of the "Yellow Submarine" postage stamp.

WHAT TO EXPECT: Those looking to take a trip back to the days when four young lads from England ruled the world will want to head to the Tropicana. "Yesterday - A Tribute to the Beatles" is in town re-living the magic of the world's most famous band. Yesterday will be performing "The British are Coming," a live re-enactment of the famous concerts that introduced the first wave of British invasion to the United States. The show includes re-enactments of the Beatles' performance on "The Ed Sullivan Show," plus concerts at the Hollywood Bowl and Shea Stadium.

CRITIC'S CORNER: Press of Atlantic City critic Scott Cronick wrote: "While there are some more elaborate and even better Beatles tribute bands out there, Yesterday's enthusiasm and love for the music shines, and the guys sound as good as most Beatles tributes you will hear. 'The British Are Coming!' is a satisfying, fun and inexpensive night out."

'Taste of Emeril's

Cooking Challenge'

at Caesars

WHO IS HE: Emeril Lagasse is a celebrity chef who is best known for his Food Network television shows "Emeril Live" and "Essence of Emeril." Lagasse's career as a chef blossomed in New Orleans and his cooking style incorporates a lot of Creole and Cajun. He currently hosts "Emeril Green" on the Discovery Channel. In addition to his TV shows, Lagasse has written 11 cookbooks and owns a chain of restaurants

WHAT TO EXPECT: For anyone who has ever wanted to put their culinary skills to the test, the "Taste of Emeril's Cooking Challenge" offers a unique opportunity to do so. The event, which is hosted by Marc Summers of "Unwrapped" and "Double Dare" fame, features audience members competing for prizes. At the end of the show all audience members will get a chance to taste some of the scrumptious meals. One thing to note about the show is that Emeril Lagasse will be appearing on-screen only and will not actually be at the challenges.

Kozak the Magician

WHO IS HE: Kozak the Magician began his career as a street performer in Pittsburgh and quickly rose to become a successful comedian and magician. Kozak headlined comedy clubs for years, eventually branching out to performing at casinos, colleges and corporate functions. Kozak even got an opportunity to perform for Prince Charles and Princess Diana at the Palladium Theater in London.

SHOW INFO: Tickets are $23 and $30, and the $30 tickets include dinner. Dinner is 6 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays, 5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, with the show following one hour later. at the Comedy Stop in The Quarter at the Tropicana.

The Roots

with Jimmy Fallon

at Borgata

WHO ARE THEY: Hailing from Philadelphia, The Roots formed in 1989 and released its major label debut album, "Do You Want More?!!!??!" in 1995. Although the album wasn't a huge success, the band began to build a loyal fan base with a spot on the second stage at the Lollapalooza Tour. The album "Illadelph Halflife" followed in 1997 and did better on the charts than its predecessor. The Roots' biggest commercial and critical hit was 1999's "Things Fall Apart."

Jimmy Fallon is a comedian, actor and talk show host who rose to prominence as a "Saturday Night Live" cast member in the late 1990s and early 2000s. He was known for his impressions of Barry Gibb and Carson Daly and became the co-anchor of Weekend Update in 2000 along with Tina Fey. Fallon has starred in films such as "Fever Pitch," "Band of Brothers" and "Almost Famous," and released the comedy album "The Bathroom Wall" in 2002. Currently, Fallon hosts his own talk show, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," which he took over from Conan O'Brien on NBC.

WHAT TO EXPECT: Adding elements of jazz to hip-hop music, The Roots forged a unique style and have become a critically acclaimed and influential group in the process. For the past 20 years, the band maintained a loyal cult following. Fans can expect to hear songs that span the group's career, including material from their upcoming album, "How I Got Over." Joining The Roots for this show will be their "Late Night" colleague Fallon, who will provide some comedy.

WHAT'S NEW: The Roots upcoming album, "How I Got Over," was originally scheduled for an Oct. 20 release, but at the last minute the band opted to postpone it until 2010.

Footloose at Tropicana

WHAT IS IT: "Footloose" is based on the 1984 hit film of the same name. The plot tells the story of a kid from Chicago who moves with his mother to a small town in the country that has banned dancing. The show includes hit songs such as "Let's Hear it For the Boy" and "Footloose," and is presented by Jersey Shore Entertainment.

WHAT TO EXPECT: For those who simply have got to cut loose, "Footloose" is the perfect show. Kick off your Sunday shoes and indulge in the popular musical that captured the hearts of Americans in the mid-'80s. The 90-minute show features 20 performers dancing and singing favorites, including "Let's Hear it For the Boy."

Irina Allegrova

WHO IS SHE: Irina Allegrova is a Russian singer who released her debut album, "My Destined One-Suzheny/Wanderer-Strannik," in 1991, which contained the No. 1 single "Wanderer." Her second album, "Ugonschitsa," won a Russian Grammy. The singer's most recent album, "Allegrova 2007," was released in 2007.

WHAT TO EXPECT: Fans of the Russian singer will be ecstatic as she takes to the stage in Atlantic City. Allegrova was an instant success with the hit single "Wanderer" on her very first album. Concertgoers can look forward to hearing all of Allegrova's hits.
