National GOP attacks Adler for 'unethical' contributions

The National Republican Congressional Committee attacked Democratic 3rd Congressional District candidate John Adler as unethical Tuesday for accepting past federal campaign contributions from casino executives and PACs.

However, what the Republican committee failed to say was that the contributions were completely legal.

The Republican committee criticized the contributions because Adler is and was a state senator when the casinos donated to a past U.S. Senate campaign. Casinos are not allowed to donate to state campaigns. But they can donate to federal campaigns, even when the candidates are also state legislators. More
