By JEANNE DONOHUE For At The Shore, 609-272-7017
Published: Jun 05, 2008

Storytelling, juggling, comedy and arts and crafts will delight the younger set during the 20th annual Appel Farm Arts & Music Festival on Saturday, June 7.

That's right - the festival welcomes families with open arms. Children 12 and under are admitted to the festival for free. Target sponsors the Children's Village for the eighth consecutive year. The village is open from noon to 4 p.m.

"It's a very comfortable atmosphere for children and families," says Sean Timmons, Appel artistic director. "In fact, kids will make up about 20 percent of the total audience."

Featured performers in the Children's Village include the beloved Tuckers Tales Puppet Theatre, storyteller Ken Kaplan, and comedian, juggler, magician Al Angello. Arts and crafts activities will spark children's creativity and add to the enjoyment of a delightful day in the country. More
